Hello all,
Hope you had a wonderful Holiday’s and fantastic New Year!
We have our annual general membership meeting coming up. It will be Feb 8th at Purple Mountain Recovery Center at 1pm (4615 Northpark Dr Colorado Springs, CO 80918). There is no food or beverages at this facility, plan ahead. We will have our BOA meeting at 11:30am if you would like to attend that as well. If there are policy changes that you would like to submit, please have them ready and copies for others. Questions and comments will be held during Community Comments.
This will also be the time for Treasurer and President elections. So far, I have not received applications for either. Most important is the Treasurer position. The future of this organization is depending on us all, so please if you can make the meeting, please do so, we have vacancies on the board, please consider. If we have no candidate for Treasurer, we will not have a Treasurer and will need to get one within 90 days in order to remain in compliance with Colorado State law for our 501c3. I know some needed a break, I understand, as being on lines and the board since Reign 38!!! So, I get it, but we have an obligation to our organization and all of southern Colorado. I aim to have fun on this journey, so whatever was in the past, let’s leave it there, or address it! Hope many of you can join the meeting and be apart of FUN change.

I am serving as a backup to the treasurer this year, and will be part of the treasury committee that we are organizing this year to help with the treasurer’s duties. I have the ucppe approved card reader for our square account and live across the street from one of our bank’s branches and will assist to taking donations and card payments and cash at our events on going via laptop. If this information helps you decide to run for treasurer this year, please let me know how we can assist/train you for it. Bobby has done a wonderful job with our finances and appreciate someone else taking over with the above support system in place. Ed Sanders, Webmaster
