Tim Holt – Emperor VIII

Timothy G. Holt

Ventura, CA

February 18, 1951 –

May 27, 2017

Tim was son to Carolyn and Garrett Holt in Ventura, CA. He grew up in Ventura, developing his amazing talents for baking, cooking, interior design, and collecting antiques. He graduated from Ventura High School in 1969, then attended Ventura College. He owned his own bakery in downtown Ventura, making the most delicious confections. He ventured to Colorado Springs where he opened a restaurant before moving to the East Coast and working, setting up, managing kitchens for exclusive resorts. His joy was menu parings and setting up events to be beautiful. He always said presentation is everything ? from his cakes for birthdays or weddings, to his cooking, to interior design; everything was always incredibly PERFECT! Tim was a perfectionist through and through and it showed in his work ethic. He was so many peoples go-to for everything baking, cooking, design, and collectibles. Wherever he went, whether in California, Colorado, Maine or Florida he made friends and had a great time with whatever adventure was awaiting. Tim was a son, brother, uncle, godfather, but most importantly friend. He will remain forever in our hearts and will be missed dearly, especially by his “family”, Jimmy, Karen, Johnny, Dawn, Yvonne, sister-in-law Genie, brother Gary, and his lil furry friend, Cassie. Tim will be honored at a Celebration of Life on June 17, 2017 at 2:00pm,at the Sportsman in Ventura, CA. In Tim fashion, he donated his body to science, with the hopes he would contribute to making someone else’s life better! In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice and pay forward generosity to someone special!

I wish to also comment on the passing of Norman Relaford and Dawn Marie Dunlap. Norman had a special wit and Dawn was just amazing in her overcoming adversity, they both taught me a lot and will be missed from here on.

Bill was a great man and supporter of the charity work that the UCPPE does throughout the years. He will be greatly missed.
