Greetings UCPPE Members!
Happy almost Easter! Things are warming up!!!!
Reminder of the Special General membership meeting that will be held April 27th at 3:00pm at The Retro Lounge (formally The Q) in the Satellite Hotel.
Agenda is attached.
Some have mixed feelings about hosting events and meetings at what seems to be the same place all the time. I want to clarify some things on that. We, as in the BOAs and the Reign has and continue to have events at various venues. There are multiple reasons why this has not been successful: UCPPE members speaking ill on the organization to the management or owner, leading them to not want to continue doing business with us; UCPPE members conducting in poor behavior in these spaces; lack of participation in turn giving the venue a profit. If we work together we can expand. We have policies in place to deal with certain individuals, please do not blame the entire organization causing venues to not want to do business with us, then turn around and complain that everything is at the same place………………………………….. I mean………………………………. if you have an issue, there are protocols in place, please try that first.
We as the oldest and longest ran LGBTQIA+ non-profit organization should seek out a “Gay owned” venue as a home bar, while branching out to others throughout southern Colorado to host events and support our small owned businesses. Home bar, meaning, where we primarily hold meetings and some shows. Other shows and events should be held throughout our region. Some venues expect a bar minimum, some expect a reservation fee. We, as a non-profit with no income need to book at venues that are free of charge, unless we have more participation to pay these expenses, free spaces are hard to come by. We had a great idea for Bar K, but we are not welcome there because of false accusations on the entire organization was made. Hince, we’re no longer there. We cannot seem to behave in a CHURCH!!!!!!!!! So you tell me where to go…..
Their Majesties will be sending out upcoming events soon. Black and White Ball will be a $1500 fee to use the space.
If anyone has ideas for a venue with low cost to no cost for events, by all means, reach out.
We have a new Corresponding Secretary, and a new Princess Royal. We still have Recording Secretary, Membership Chair, Public Relations and Games Manager vacant.
Pridefest is June 14 and 15 for Colorado Springs. We have a booth and a space in the parade this year! Anyone interested in being apart of this fun time, get with their Majesties. Our June 10th BOA meeting would be a good meeting to attend as we will extensively go into Pridefest.
Food for thought or Rhetorical question: What do you want out of this organization, and how do you propose we get there?
We are geared up and ready for a fun reign leading to a fabulous and fun 50th Coronation!! Hope you will be apart of the joy ride, with good intent.
Much respect, no regrets,
Mesha Narie Fierce

On behalf of Emperor Joseph Shelton, Empress Autumn Quinn, Prince Royal Anthony Garcia, Reign 49, the UCPPE Board of Advisors, and the UCPPE Council of Regents, we take today to remember and stand our ground in support of our trans friends and siblings both inside and outside of our realm.
Today, on Trans Day of Visibility, we pause to honor the strength, resilience, and contributions of the trans community. We recognize those who have paved the way for progress, ensuring that the paths we walk today were fought for with courage and determination, starting with Marsha P. Johnson.
In a time when the current administration continues its relentless attacks on trans rights, we stand in unwavering solidarity with our trans siblings. The fight is not just for acceptance—the fundamental right to be, thrive, and live authentically in a world that often tries to erase them.
Today, we also take a solemn moment to remember two of our Five Guardians of the Peak, Daniel Davis Aston and Kelley Loving. Their lives were stolen from us too soon, but their legacies of love, community, and resilience live on. We will always stand to fight for what they stood firm for—unapologetic authenticity and the right to exist in safety and dignity.
To our trans friends, siblings, and loved ones: We see you, we honor you, and we stand with you—today and always. Your visibility is powerful, your existence is valid, and your fight is ours.
