July 21st 2019, United Court Pikes Peak Empire Board of Advisors meeting
BOA present: Water Xaris – Vice President; Mesha Narie Fierce – Secretary; Dan Alexander – Treasurer; Candy Rose – Public Relations; Koriandir Xaris – Member at Large; Darryl Alexander – Membership Chair; Anka Shane – Empress 43; Antoinette Lilly – Empress 42, Hospitality
Call to order: 1:17pm; Water Xaris, Vice President, presided the meeting.
Darryl moved to accept June’s BOA minutes, Dan second. With no further discussion, motion carried.
President Report- No significant activity to report
Vice President Report – No significant activity to report
Secretary Report – No significant activity to report
Treasurer Report – Dan presented the breakdown of the finances. Antoinette moved to accept the financial report as presented, Koriandir second, with no further discussion, motion carried. Mesha motioned to move travel funds from previous Emperor to the Absolute Empress funds, Darryl second, discussion held. All in favor, motion carried.
Committee Report – No significant activity to report
State of the Reign Report – Anka Shane detailed latest events and upcoming events. Coronation theme will be Dystopia.
State of the Regents Report – Regents meeting will be on August 11th. Antoinette discussed upcoming events.
Old Business – Candy discussed the Youth Outreach as well as details for the Pueblo Voting and The All Candidates Show. Mesha discussed the success of the Pride Pageant and $93 raised.
New Business – In Sean Gooden’s absence, Water presented a motion for The Mani Queen Butterfly Award for the Best New Performer. Dan moved the motion, Mesha second, discussion was held. With all in favor, motion carried. Water presented an addition to policy Vacancy of the Throne. With discussion held, six in favor; one abstain, motion carried. Water presented an addition to policy Campaign. Dan motioned to accept the addition, Anka second, with discussion held and all in favor, motion carried.
With no further business to discuss, next meeting to include the Candidate Review was scheduled for August 21 at 6pm. Meeting adjourned at 3:07pm.
