Minutes of the Meeting held on May 7, 2024 at the Q, 411 Lakewood Circle, 80910.
Present: Mesha Narie Fierce – President, Roy Merkle – Vice-President, Justin Johnson – Corresponding Secretary, Michael Robertson – Emperor 48, Alexis Rave – Empress 48, Bobby Steinborn – Treasurer, Joseph Smith – Member, Sable Gordon – Queen Mother, Steven Grantham – Regents Counsel, Autumn Quinn – Membership Chair, Michael Cornejo – King Father
Excused: Joseph Shelton, work related.
Call to Order: Mesha at 6:05 PM
President’s Report: No report given.
Vice-President’s Report: No report given.
Treasurer’s Report: Bobby Steinborn submitted a written report. $10,856.71 balance. $8,893.86 operating fund and the bank accounts are in balance. 6 RENT tickets were donated to the court. Regarding the Auction held 4-28-2024 we need the breakdown for the PR Travel Fund donations. Discussion of the treasurer’s report ensued. Ed Sanders motioned to accept the Treasury Report as submitted and Steven seconded the motion. All were in favor of the motion with one abstention.

Membership Chair Report: No report given.
State of the Reign Report: Report by Emperor 48 Michael Robertson, $1,040.00 was raised at the VFW Show at the end of April. Plans are being made to attend the Red Ribbon Ball. Pridefest 2024 was discussed and Black and White Ball on 05-18-2024. The Turnabout show is on May 20, 2024 at Vultures. Prince Royal is going to Salt Lake City coronation on May 26, 2024. The is a Pride Show at Vultures on June 20, 2024 and a Pride Show in Trinidad on June 29, 2024.

State of the Regents Report: Steven Grantham Emperor 47 reported doing a Care Basket Drive and is working on setting a date for the Regents meeting.
Old Business: Black and White ball is May 18, 2024. The Pikes Peak Metropolitan Community Church will be opened for us at 2 pm. Afghan donation to be auctioned off, item posted online to website. Roy Merkle will be dong the invocation, and Leandra’s 10 year anniversary crown will be presented at the event. Treasurer will have change ready for the door. The event is a pot-luck and byob. There will be a gathering after the event at the Q.
New Business: The Court’s annual picnic was set to be June 30, 2024, later changed to June 23, 2024 due to a conflict with Denver’s PR Picnic scheduled that day. Payment was rendered for the event on June 23rd to the VFW Hall incuding member discount of $25 ($125 paid). The Member’s Picnic will be from 12 pm to 6 pm no charge for admittance at the VFW post, in Fountsin Co. Pridefest Colorado Springs on June 8-9, 2024 was discussed. Volunteers were solicited for the booth and we also have a free parade entry for someone to coordinate this event. Joe Smith’s t-bird was offered for the parade. Pueblo pride in August was also discussed. Coronation pins were discussed, and also the choice of pins or coins for coronation event. The Reign 48 will negotiate appropriate ad sales. The bus expense for coronation bus tour event has been donated. Checking with Evan regarding the prices for the coronation stage production. Hotel room reservations are now being taken at the Antlers and the website has the appropriate link to book rooms. A Grievance was filed against a Board Member, motion made by Autumn Quinn to accept the grievance as filed with Steven seconding the motion. All were in favor of accepting the grievance with one abstention. Comments and discussion were made by several of the board members present. Autumn Quinn gave a bingo report and status of the successful events every Wednesday.
