December 14th 2019, United Court Pikes Peak Empire Board of Advisors meeting

BOA present: Water Xaris – Vice President; Mesha Narie Fierce – Recording Secretary; Dan Alexander – Treasurer; Autumn Quinn – Empress 44; Nic Grzecka – Emperor 44; Lucy Roxia – Corresponding Secretary; Ed Sanders – Web Master; Candy Rose – Regent

Call to order: 6:15pm; Water Xaris, Vice President, presided the meeting.

President Report- No significant activity to report

Vice President Report – No significant activity to report

Secretary Report – No significant activity to report

Treasurer Report – Dan presented the financial breakdown to include Coronation 44 profit and loss. Mesha motioned to accept the Treasurers report, Nic second, with all in favor, motion passed.

Committee Report – No significant activities to report.

State of the Reign Report – Labels with the Emperor and Empress photos were made for wine bottles to give away to select personnel. Calendars with upcoming events were made and passed out. Working on prizes for upcoming events. Dinner with Inside Out Youth Services December 11th was a big success, Mesha cooked dinner. Matt Gomez led the Feed the Homeless event on December 8th with over 200 sandwiches given away. Inside Out Youth Services, hosted a Murder Mystery December 13th with a few line members of Reign 44 participation. Discussed upcoming travels. February 8th is the Winter Cotillion with Three Ring Circus as the theme. January 25th will be a Wine Tasting hosted by Mesha, details to come.

State of the Regents Report – A Co-Chair Counsel will be appointed by January to assist with Reign 44 for hospitality and other duties. Fundraisers along with the Aspen brunch will be coordinated throughout the reign and further discussed in future meetings. Nic motioned to approve $650 – $700 to place ads in various upcoming Coronations, Dan second, with all in favor, motion passed. Ed announced the Privacy Act for the website needs to be renewed.

Old Business – Nic motioned to have a new lock purchased no more than $20 to replace the current lock on the storage shed, Autumn second, with all in favor, motion passed.

New Business – BOA seats were discussed. Candidate packet pickup will be January 19th from 4-6pm at Club Q. Dan motioned to reimburse the cost of flowers for the services for Antoinette Lilly to Water Xaris, Nic second, with all in favor, motion passed. Mesha motioned to have a Memoir table of deceased Monarchs at future Coronations in loving memory of those no longer with us, Nic second, with all in favor, motion passed.

With no further business to discuss, next BOA meeting is set for January 19th 1pm at Club Q.
